Grief
Grief means different things to different people. It is usually associated with a loss and unfortunately, our family has lost a lot in recent years. Aunt Patti loss her father in 2012, she lost her mother in 2018 and she lost her oldest son, KYLE, in 2013.
Kyle represents a lot of her and our motivation. He was a fantastic man that we lost too soon at the age of 26. A major portion of our drive (Keep Your Life Exciting) is based on his philosophy on life. No matter what the circumstances were, he was always optimistic, looked at the positives in everything and kept his life exciting.
Two years ago, one of Aunt Patti’s best friends (she was a Bridesmaid in our wedding, 35 years ago), lost her son at the age of 21. This is so unbelievable, that 2 friends of over 35+ years could go thru the same tragic loss. Even more unbelievable, is the fact that both of their mothers were also best friends, for over 50 years, too.
However, these two losses have brought 2 friends back together to share a life changing event that hopefully few people will ever have to experience.
